Hi there,

On average, within five years of graduating, 50% of Skidmore alumni have completed or are currently enrolled in graduate or professional school education. The five most popular graduate school fields five years out are:
1. Education
2. Law
3. Social Work
4. Business Administration
5. Art

Here is a sampling of graduate/professional schools chosen by 2011 graduates: Boston University, Clarkson University, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, London School of Economics, New York University, Notre Dame University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Hope that helps!

Hi there,

I would recommend calling the self-determined major subcommittee chair, Professor Giuseppe Faustini either by phone (518-580-5206) or e-mail at gfaustin@skidmore.edu.

The question of giving out the student proposal is a question of privacy. The majors are self-determined so they vary by student-to-student, but Professor Faustini is happy to walk you through a proposal and answer any questions you may have.

Thanks for the question!
