Hi there,
There are plenty of resources for international students at Skidmore! Here is just a sampling of the support we provide for our international community on campus:
- Academic support from international student advisors in the Office of Student Academic Services (academic support, visa questions, travel plans, and related issues),
- Multi-day International Student Pre-orientation Program in August,
- Annual International Student Dinner in early fall,
- International Student Union (mentoring for new students),
- Student clubs including Asian Cultural Awareness, Raices, Ujima, and more
- Intercultural Center
- Friendship Family Program (connecting international students with local families)
- UWC Scholars Advising
- Davis Projects for Peace
- Career Services
- Office of Student Diversity Programs (OSDP)
Don’t believe me? See for yourself, we’re holding a live chat for admitted international students on Friday, April 13 at 10:00 am.m ET. Check it out, ask questions and get answers from current international students at Skidmore: http://mgch.at/PVqS.
Hope that helps!
