Since the deadline to accept is tomorrow (May 1) we’re still not sure how many students will enroll at Skidmore yet. Once we know those numbers we’ll determine if we will go to students who are on the active waitlist. In recent years it’s been as many as 120 and as few as zero. So hopefully within the coming weeks.

Hi there,
Several hundred students were waitlisted this year. But after the requested postcards and follow up calls from waitlisted students, we have about 15-175 students on the “active waitlist.” The students on this list will be the first group considered if we go to the waitlist. Unfortunately we will not be able to tell how many (if any at all) we’ll take from the waitlist until admitted students enroll. We likely won’t know that until the first few days of May. In recent years it’s been as many as 120 and as few as zero.

Unfortunately, there is no way to tell at this point. It all depends on who enrolls by May 1. There are some years when aid is available for the waitlisted students and others when we don’t have enough aid for waitlisted students.

Hi there,
Waitlisted students can be admitted from the waiting list but that doesn’t happen until early May. In the last few years we’ve taken as many as 70 and as few as 0. We have not gone to the waiting list the last two years.
