Welcome back! We’ve missed you:)
While classes start today at Skidmore, there are nearly 150 Skidmore students starting their academic year in a different country. We’ve asked four of them to keep track of their experience through a blog and to share what it is like to spend a semester learning in a new environment, possibly speaking a new language, and getting an opportunity to experience a different way of thinking and viewing the world.
- Jeff Dingler is on the Skidmore in Spain program: https://academics.skidmore.edu/blogs/innocentsabroad/
- Mary Brimmer is studying in Florence, Italy: https://academics.skidmore.edu/blogs/pinpoints/
- Sam Olarsch is in Cape Town, South Africa: https://academics.skidmore.edu/blogs/samoinsouthafrica/
- Zoe Lesser is on the Moscow Art Theater Program in Russia: https://academics.skidmore.edu/blogs/russiantogoabroad/
If you’re thinking of going abroad, come see us! We have walk-in advising from 1-4pm every weekday.
If you were abroad last semester, come see us! We’d love to catch up and hear about your semester.
